Bali, 9 December 2022 - PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) / PT PII has again made achievements on an international scale. This time, PT PII received 3 awards at the same time in the 2022 ASEAN Risk Award, namely as 1st Place in Risk Champion Category 1, Runner up in GRC Award Category 1 and Risk Educator. The award was received directly by the Business Director of PT PII Andre Permana at the ASEAN Risk Award 2022 Announcement Gala Dinner at Anvaya Hotel Bali, Thursday (8/12).

The Asean Risk Awards, which in 2022 carries the theme "The Age of Resilience" is an awarding event organized by the Enterprise Risk Management Academy (ERMA) from Singapore which is attended by companies in ASEAN that apply risk management with various business sizes, types of industries , as well as the country of origin, and share the same passion in developing the best risk management model. The ASEAN Risk Awards activities involve professionals from various countries who have backgrounds in risk management, auditors, business and international relations as award judges.

PT PII's Business Director, Andre Permana said that the award that was obtained ahead of the 13th PT PII Anniversary was a concrete form of implementing risk management in accordance with best practices carried out by the management and employees of PT PII. In accordance with its business nature, PT PII as a Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia which has received a mandate from the Government to support the acceleration of infrastructure development through innovative financing schemes, must always encourage public sector risk management primarily to support the acceleration of infrastructure development which provides great benefits for Public.

"This achievement will certainly support the strengthening of PT PII's business aspects in 2023 where we will not only support infrastructure development through creative financing to small-scale infrastructure, but we will also carry out business enhancements and diversification by providing guarantees outside of infrastructure. This means that it is a challenge for us as a guarantee institution to continue to gain trust. Therefore, this achievement is the basis for us to be more committed to implementing comprehensive risk management and integrating Good Governance, Risk Management and Compliance within the Company," said Andre.

Previously, at the Asean Risk Awards, PT PII received awards in the categories of Risk Advocate (2016), Public Initiative (2017), Public Initiative (2018). Public Risk, Public Initiative & Risk Educator (2019), Risk Champion, Public Initiative & Runner Up GRC Awards (2021). In addition, during 2022, PT PII has won several awards, namely at The Asset Tripple A event as PPP Agency of the Year 2022, 2022 CNBC Award in the category of The Most Sustainable Infrastructure Financing Institution, TOP GRC Award 2022 and TOP Digital Awards 2022.
