The Minister of Finance on that occasion also hoped that this innovative financing scheme would not only be applied to large Ministries/Institutions such as the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing and the Ministry of Transportation, but must be transmitted to the Regional Governments. The Ministry of Transportation hopes that the support from the Ministry of Finance, the PPP Joint Office, and PT PII can continue in assisting the Ministry of Transportation to apply innovative financing schemes to meet future infrastructure needs.
"Hopefully the collaboration that we have carried out with the Ministry of Finance and PT PII can become a model for other Ministries/Institutions in implementing innovative financing and provide maximum benefits for the people of Indonesia," explained Budi Karya.
"Since its inception until now, PT PII has received PMN of Rp. 10,655 T. On this basis, PT PII can provide guarantees, so that at the end of 2022 Rp. 95 T was used to support 48 development projects with an investment value of Rp. 497 T.
