PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero)/PT PII, one of the Special Mission Vehicles (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance, once again made an achievement as the winner of the prestigious award event, namely the 2023 Annual Report Award (ARA) on Monday. In this prestigious event, PT PII managed to become the only winner in the Non-Go Public Finance category competing with 167 companies from 10 categories. The award was received directly by the President Director of PT PII at the 2023 Annual Report Award Night in Jakarta (7/10).

The ARA is an annual award given to BUMD, BUMN and private companies, both public and non-public, for their openness of information and sustainability in the Annual Report. The implementation of ARA 2023, which is the 19th implementation since 2002, is held through cooperation from 7 (seven) organizing agencies, namely the Financial Services Authority, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of SOEs, the Directorate General of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance, the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the National Committee for Governance Policy and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants.

ARA activities aim to encourage the implementation of corporate governance principles of companies in Indonesia through information disclosure and governance practices, including sustainability which is carried out through assessments of annual reports and company sustainability and providing recommendations for improvement to all ARA participants. The assessment is carried out on the disclosure of information on annual reports and sustainability reports that are in accordance with applicable provisions and guidelines and are presented in a relevant and fair manner.

President Director of PT PII M. Wahid Sutopo said that in line with the theme of ARA 2023, namely "Internalizing Integrated Mindset Toward Sustainable Long Term Value Creation", PT PII's participation in this event is a form of the Company's commitment to implementing governance practices and integrating sustainability aspects in the Company's strategic planning and business processes in order to create long-term value which is also disclosed in the annual report and sustainability report, especially in the 2023 financial year. As one of the SMVs under the Ministry of Finance in the form of a BUMN, the implementation of compliance and good corporate governance as well as sustainability will continue to be carried out in every business process of the Company so that it can be a reference in corporate governance practices in Indonesia.

"With this achievement, we will continue to be committed to continuously improving the quality, transparency, and accountability in reporting our annual performance and sustainability performance, in line with our efforts to carry out the mandate from the Government in supporting the sustainability of infrastructure development through creative financing schemes, by prioritizing aspects of Good Corporate Governance to provide maximum benefits to the Community," Sutopo explained.

For information, PT PII recorded its positive performance in the 2023 Annual Report. This is evidenced by the results of the GCG assessment score with a value of 90 (Very Good). In addition, the revenue recorded in 2023 was IDR1.32 trillion with a net profit of IDR836 billion. Revenue and profit are the highest achievements of PT PII, a BUMN which is an SMV of the Ministry of Finance since its establishment on December 30, 2009. In addition, the efficiency of PT PII's performance is also demonstrated by the Company with a net profit margin of 63% and a ratio of Operating Expenses to Operating Income (BOPO) of 37%.
