One of the Government's focuses in the next 5 years is the development of reliable Human Resources (HR) to support Indonesia to become a developed country. The President emphasized building skilled human resources, mastering science and technology. In accordance with the focus of the PT PII CSR program, which is the field of education to increase the opportunities for Indonesia's young generation to have the opportunity to pursue a good education. As a form of concern for education, PT PII provided educational assistance for 560 students from 11 schools from the North Sulawesi region, particularly in Manado City, Bitung City, and North Minahasa District so that they can continue to go to school. Educational assistance provided to these students is in the form of school uniforms, bags, shoes, books, stationery, and other school necessities. On October 15, 2020, the educational assistance was handed over to student representatives in the presence of the Head of the Manado City Education and Culture Office, and school representatives. In this CSR activity, PT PII allocated a budget of Rp. 194,874,000.
