The Director General of State Assets of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, Rionald Silaban, submitted a copy of the Decree of the Minister of Finance on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of PT PII to PT PII on Thursday (18/7) yesterday. In the event held at the Head Office of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN), the signing of the Minutes of Handover of KMK by the Director General of KN to the new Board of Commissioners of PT PII was also carried out.

In his remarks, Rionald said that the election of commissioners is a mandate and a form of trust from shareholders which should be carried out with full responsibility and high commitment to maintain and improve the performance of the Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu). According to him, PT PII plays an important role in the Indonesian economy, especially in the field of infrastructure development.

The government has quite high expectations of PT PII, so we hope that the board of commissioners must be able to carry out an optimal supervisory role so that the SMV's future tasks can run well. On the same occasion, Rionald expressed his hope that all SMVs of the Ministry of Finance, which have an important role as fiscal tools, will represent the reputation of the Ministry of Finance to synergize with each other to provide the best for the country.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT PII, M. Wahid Sutopo said that with the appointment of Hadiyanto as President Commissioner of PT PII, it is hoped that it can further improve the company's professionalism in carrying out its mandate as an SMV of the Ministry of Finance that supports infrastructure development through an innovative financing scheme.

As the President Commissioner of the Company, Mr. Hadiyanto can carry out optimal supervisory functions in accordance with good corporate governance, so that PT PII's performance can continue to improve in accordance with the Company's vision, mission and short-term and long-term plans.
