Patimban Access Toll Road Project Signing

Jakarta (24/01), Consortium of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN)-Private-Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, PT Nusa Raya Cipta Tbk (NRC), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk ( ADHI), PT PP (Persero) Tbk, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) and PT Subang Sejahtera signed the Toll Road Concession Agreement (PPJT), Guarantee Agreement and Patimban Access Toll Road Regress Agreement in the Auditorium of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Tuesday (24/01).

 

The signing of the Patimban Access Toll Road PPJT was carried out by the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) of the PUPR Ministry Danang Parikesit and the Main Director of the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) Consortium PT Jasamarga Access Patimban (JAP) Victor Nazarenko Mahandre. Meanwhile, the signing of two other agreements, namely the Guarantee Agreement was carried out by the Main Director of PT Penjaminan dan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) (PII) M. Wahid Sutopo and the Main Director of PT JAP Victor Nazarenko Mahandre and the Regress Agreement was carried out by the Minister of PUPR M. Basuki Hadimuljono and Main Director of PT PII M. Wahid Sutopo.

 

Also present at the event were the Director General of Highways of the PUPR Ministry Hedy Rahadian, the Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance Suminto, the Regent of Subang Regency H. Ruhimat, the Head of the Regional Planning and Development Agency (Bappeda) of West Java Province Sumasna and the Main Director of the PT JAP Consortium namely Main Director of Jasa Marga Subakti Syukur, Main Director of PT NRC Hadiwinarto Christanto, Main Director of ADHI Entus Asnawi, Main Director of PT PP Novel Arsyad, Main Director of WIKA Agung Budi Waskito and Main Director of PT Subang Sejahtera Aziz Muslih and his staff.

PT Jasamarga Access Patimban is a BUJT formed by the BUMN-Private-BUMD Consortium that won the tender for the construction of the Patimban Access Toll Road, consisting of Jasa Marga as the majority shareholder with 55%, PT NRC with 22%, ADHI with 6%, WIKA with 6% %, PT PP is 6% and PT Subang Sejahtera is 5%.

PUPR Minister M. Basuki Hadimuljono in his direction stated that all related parties, both the Central Government, Regional Governments and BUJTs, must work faster to meet the target of operating the Patimban Access Toll Road in September 2024 because the Patimban Access Toll Road will speed up and expedite transportation to transportation. logistics in West Java Province.

"Not only focusing on land acquisition and accelerating physical development, the construction of the Patimban Access Toll Road must also prioritize quality. In the past two years, we must prioritize quality, good aesthetics and environmental sustainability, including the use of domestic products, the Domestic Component Level (TKDN)," said Minister Basuki.

 

Meanwhile, Main Director of PT PII M. Wahid Sutopo explained that as a Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, PT PII always supports the development of infrastructure projects through innovative financing with the Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, especially in national strategic projects. like the Patimban Access Toll Road.

 

"Our support for this project is our commitment to supporting the export development of the national automotive industry, complementing our support for the development of vehicle type testing facilities in October last year as well as strengthening Indonesia's role in the 2023 ASEAN Presidency," said Sutopo.

 

Main Director of PT JAP Victor Nazarenko Mahandre explained, Patimban Access Toll Road has a total length of 37.05 Km, with an investment value of IDR 5.02 trillion and a concession period of 50 years. "The Patimban Access Toll Road will be a toll road that connects access between the Industrial Area in West Java and the Patimban Port, besides that it will also be an alternative route for the community in Indramayu Regency, Subang Regency, Purwakarta Regency and Karawang Regency," said Victor.

 

Victor added, for the construction of the Patimban Access Toll Road which consists of 5 sections, this was built through a PPP scheme. Of the five sections, the construction of Section 1 Junction Cipendeuy-Simpang Susun (SS) Cipendeuy and Section 2 SS Cipendeuy-SS Pasir Bungur with a total length of 14.11 km was carried out by BUJT PT JAP. Meanwhile, the construction of Section 3 SS Pasir Bungur-SS Tambak Dahan, Section 4 SS Tambak Dahan-SS Pusakanegara and Section 5 SS Pusakanegara-Patimban with a total length of 22.94 km is being undertaken by the Government.

"This toll road will later pass through 10 sub-districts and 20 villages in West Java Province starting from Sawangan Village, Cipendeuy District, which is connected to the Cikopo-Palimanan Toll Road and ends in Pusakaratu Village, Pusakanegara District, and is connected to the national coast road. north (pantura) and a non-toll access road to Patimban Port," explained Victor.

 

Patimban Access Toll Road which will improve Patimban Port connectivity as one of the largest ports in Indonesia, it is targeted to start operating in September 2024. The Patimban Access Toll Road will increase the connectivity of the road network, both toll roads and national roads as well as the development of Industrial Areas, Service Centers to Trade in West Java Province.
