The Indonesian Ministry of Finance, through PT PII (Indonesian Secondary School of Economics and Finance), provided Project Preparation Facility (PPP) support and Transaction Assistance/Project Development Facility (PDF) for the Batang Regency Street Lighting PPP project. This initiative was implemented through PT PII's support for the Market Sounding activity, which was held at the PT PII office in Jakarta on May 18th to explore market interest and encourage participation from private companies and the private sector in the APJ project.

The development of the APJ in Batang Regency aims to strengthen the safety, security, and comfort of public mobility, promote inter-regional connectivity along key connecting corridors, expand nighttime economic activity, improve the distribution of street lighting services, and support the realization of Batang Terang (Bright Batang) and the aspirations of Batang Clean Industrial City.

Through the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme, this project is expected to provide more equitable, modern, reliable, energy-efficient, and sustainable street lighting services. This initiative is part of PT PII's commitment to supporting regional infrastructure development through innovative financing schemes that deliver tangible benefits to the community.
