Serang - Panimbang Toll Road is a toll road connecting Serang and the Tanjung Lesung Tourism Special Economic Zone, Banten. The Serang-Panimbang Toll Road will be connected to the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road. This toll road has a length of 83.7 kilometers and a total area of 785 hectares. This toll road passes through Serang City, Serang Regency, Lebak and Pandeglang by passing through 14 sub-districts and 48 villages / kelurahan. This toll road is used to support road access to Ujung Kulon National Park and Tanjung Lesung. In addition, it is also to support access to logistics / goods shipments from industrial areas in Pandeglang, Banten to Tanjung Priok Port, Jakarta and Merak Port, Banten. The plan is for this toll road to operate in 2022. This Toll Project is a project with the Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP) scheme and is a toll project provided by the Government Guarantee through PT PII as a single widow policy.
The signing of this project was carried out at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of PUPR and the Attorney General. The signed agreement is the Guarantee Agreement between PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) / PT PII and PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbang as the Implementing Business Entity selected through an open auction. At the same time, a Regress Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) and PT PII.
