Strengthening the Sustainable Infrastructure Development Ecosystem in Southeast Asia, PT PII Executes MoU Exchange with Infra Asia at the Asia Infrastructure Forum 2026

16 JUNE 2026

The Indonesian Infrastructure Guarantee Fund (IIGF) continues to strengthen its role in supporting sustainable infrastructure development through strategic collaboration at the regional level. This commitment was realized through the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Exchange with Infrastructure Asia (InfraAsia) at the 2026 Asia Infrastructure Forum (AIF) held in Singapore. This momentum marks a significant milestone in strengthening synergy between institutions to build a more integrated and sustainable infrastructure ecosystem in Southeast Asia.

The collaboration between IIGF and Infrastructure Asia is expected to open broader opportunities for collaboration in the development of strategic infrastructure projects, while strengthening connectivity between governments, investors, financial institutions, and industry players. Through this synergy, both parties are committed to fostering a conducive investment climate to accelerate the implementation of quality infrastructure projects and provide long-term benefits to the community.

In addition to expanding access to investment opportunities, this collaboration is also aimed at supporting the development of climate-resilient infrastructure. With the increasing global challenges posed by climate change, sustainable infrastructure development is a crucial factor in creating inclusive economic growth while maintaining regional resilience. Therefore, this collaboration is expected to be a catalyst for attracting investments that not only provide economic value but also generate positive social and environmental impacts.

IIGF's participation in the Asia Infrastructure Forum 2026 also affirms the company's commitment as the Ministry of Finance's Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) to strengthening international cooperation and supporting the acceleration of sustainable infrastructure development. Through this strategic partnership with Infrastructure Asia, IIGF is optimistic that it can continue to contribute to building a stronger, more innovative, and more adaptive infrastructure investment ecosystem to future challenges, thereby supporting sustainable development in Indonesia and the Southeast Asian region.
