In an effort to continue to increase its existence as the Special Mission Vehicle of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance, PT Penjaminan Infrastruktur Indonesia (Persero) has again received recognition through prestigious achievements in the 13th BUMN Award 2024. This event is an awards event organized by BUMN Track supported by PPM Management, as a form of appreciation to state-owned companies that are taking part in sustainable business growth, to encourage achievements and improve state-owned operational standards. This year's 13th BUMN Award has the theme "Business Reinvention to Optimize Business Opportunities in Industry 4.0". On this occasion, PT PII succeeded in bringing home an award in the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) category, which took place at the Java Ballroom, The Westin Hotel, Jakarta, Wednesday (13/3).

As a national award recognized within the scope of BUMN, Anugerah BUMN has been held 13 times since 2016. In this year's competition, the panel of independent judges comes from academics and experts from various industrial fields who are experienced in the world of BUMN, such as the former first Minister of BUMN , Tanri Abeng, is involved in the assessment based on a series of general and specific criteria. A total of 105 state-owned companies and state-owned subsidiaries participated in the 2024 BUMN Award event, and this was narrowed down to 86 companies that passed the second stage of selection in the form of corporate presentations.

M. Wahid Sutopo, President Director of PT PII, admitted that this achievement was a manifestation of the efforts of all management and all company employees to continuously implement governance compliance implementation which is in line with PT PII's role in risk management to support the acceleration of infrastructure development which provides great benefits for society.

"We hope that this award can be a motivation for PT PII to further improve and encourage the implementation of compliance and good corporate governance through various initiatives, as well as integrating good governance, risk management and compliance within the company," said Sutopo.

This award is proof of the rigorous evaluation carried out in the judging series by considering various aspects of Corporate Governance Compliance including policies, guidelines, structures and processes for implementing good governance practices and their results.
